Hi and welcome. I am Matt Shearer a professional photographer and owner of Hot Shotz Photography. 
Below is a brief introduction to my business in point form for those of you in a hurry...

• Based in Newcastle NSW (map) with another studio in Singleton NSW (the centre of the NSW mining industry).
  
  We also have a fully portable studio.
   
• We regularly service (but are definitely not limited to) areas reaching from Southern Sydney North to Port Macquarie and West to Bathurst. This includes The Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, Cessnock, Singleton and all over the beautiful Hunter Valley.
   
• We offer professional creative commercial photography covering a diverse range of clients including Industrial, Hospitality, Lifestyle & Editorial, Real Estate, Fashion & Beauty photography.
   
• If we can't for some reason take your project we will happily recommend someone who can.
   
• Our range of services including Large Format Printing, Master File Preparation and Retouching, CD/Web Photo Gallery, Reprints, Mounting, Framing and Archiving
   
• Hot Shotz was established in 1995.
   
• I have more than 15 years experience in creative photography and as a team we have over 30 years combined experience.
   
• We offer online proofing and viewing.
   
• I Prefer digital capture for the speed and flexibility it offers not to mention the superior quality (I started shooting with digital capture in Aug 2001).
   
• We use a complete ICC colour managed workflow.
   
• Our clients list includes Swimwear and Clothing companies, Coal Mines, Government Departments, Advertising, Public relations and Marketing agencies, Wineries, Bands, Financial Institutions and both Public and Private School to name a few.
   
• We are always happy to help out other business with price breaks and/or advice.
   

In a market where image is everything and competition is fierce, our approach to satisfying customers needs is what really sets us apart from our competition . We are extremely organized and efficient as undoubtedly the key to any successful shoot is in the planning of it. I find that being organized allows me to relax and think further outside the box, to explore new possibilities and set new creative standards.
Even though we are based in Newcastle we find a lot of our clients come from Capital cities within Australia or overseas and are happy to entrust us with their entire project. We regularly organize the location, talent and logistics etc for these clients.
