me... I started Hot Shotz Photography about 15 years ago when I pretty much got fed up with my previous boss. I started to do mainly family portraits and weddings thinking it would keep me fed until I got another job. Within the following six months I became so busy I had to get a studio to work from. I eventually ended up back in the market I had come from doing industrial photography for for some of the largest companies with the largest machinery available. To create some of the images you will see on this site I have hung from ropes and cranes, gone underground, been up to my waist in water, covered in coal dust (not good for the camera gear) and hung out of helicopters (not all on the same day). I am currently based in Newcastle NSW and have a office located in the city and another one in Singleton (the centre of the NSW mining industry). We regularly service (but are definitely not limited to) areas including The Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, Cessnock, Singleton and all over the beautiful Hunter Valley. We have national and international clients. We do mostly commercial and school photography, with model portfolios and candid family portraits thrown in for fun, sounds like a strange mix I know but I reckon I have got the best job in the world.
